Spread the Word Sunday: Reading Road-Trip!!!

Welcome to The Tattered Page's first ever Spread the Word Sunday! Spread the Word Sunday is a meme I came up with to announce some sort of news or cause.

And it's starting off with a BANG!

Almost everyone in the blogosphere has heard of a "giveaway hop" where a person can "hop" from blog to blog and enter giveaway galore. The Reading Road-Trip is a giveaway hop with a twist invented by Britta of the YA book blog I Like These Books and her co-host, Hafsah, of Icey Books.

This will be the schedule :)

The first annual Reading Road-Trip 2012 will take place for the whole month of July and span over the entire North American Continent! That means 3 countries, 50 states and one district! If you're going, "States? Countries? Books? Whaaat?" Let me explain...

The road-trip will be starting on the East coast and snaking around the continent. That means each day up to two blogs will post with their giveaway of either book(s) that are set in that place or with book(s) from authors who live there. I will be hosting Connecticut, so my giveaway will either consist of book(s) that take place in CT or book(s) from authors who live in CT (or both). Get it? Doesn't that sound like fun?!

So, fellow bibliophiles, get ready for the ride of your lives!
