Teaser Tuesday

This week my Teaser Tuesday quotes will be taken from my current read, Bound to You by Alyssa Brandon.

Teaser #1:

Suddenly he moved. For a second I thought he was going to go for my throat, kill me then and there. But instead he got up on his back paws and placed his two front ones on my shoulders. He was big enough that he could do it comfortably. It wasn't as comfortable for me, though. His paws were heavy. He nuzzled me with his big wet nose, rubbing against my neck, almost as if checking for a pulse.  - page 180

Teaser #2:
