Breaking Dawn: Part 2 Teaser Trailer

Am I the only one excited about the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 teaser trailer that was recently released???

The short glimpse into Bella's new life a vampire has definitely left me amped and anxious for Novermber 16 to roll around ... The mantra: 7 1/2 more months, 7 1/2 more months, 7 1/2 more months keeps replaying itself in my mind.

Take a look at the teaser and tell me what you guys think of what we, Twihards, have in store for us this coming November.

Always,
Haysel

Although I've never been driven to read The Host, the teaser looks a bit promising.

The Hunger Games: Yay or Nay?

So it is the big day! Right? Well, the first movie installment of The Hunger Games was released today. Although, I own a copy of the book 1 in the series I've yet to read it. But hearing all the buzz I just may crack the spine of the book. What do you guys think? Good idea?
With that said, how many of you will be -- or have already seen-- The Hunger Games in theaters today? Did you like it? Should I purchase a ticket and watch The Hunger Games come to life? Have you read the book already or will you be rushing to Barnes & Noble tomorrow to get your hands on Suzanne Collins series?

Now, onto the most important question of this post: The Hunger Games: Yay or Nay?
Always,
Haysel

Review : Angel Burn by L.A. Weatherly

*Warning: This review may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.

Release Date: May 24, 2011

The Story:

Willow knows she’s different from other girls, and not just because she loves tinkering with cars. Willow has a gift. She can look into the future and know people’s dreams and hopes, their sorrows and regrets, just by touching them. She has no idea where this power comes from. But the assassin, Alex, does. Gorgeous, mysterious Alex knows more about Willow than Willow herself. He knows that her powers link to dark and dangerous forces, and that he’s one of the few humans left who can fight them. When Alex finds himself falling in love with his sworn enemy, he discovers that nothing is as it seems, least of all good and evil. In the first book in an action-packed, romantic trilogy, L.A. Weatherly sends readers on a thrill-ride of a road trip - and depicts the human race at the brink of a future as catastrophic as it is deceptively beautiful. They’re out for your soul . . . and they don’t have heaven in mind.
Rating: THREE Gold Stars!!!

My Review: One Word: IRONIC

Willow Fields leds an almost normal life of a sixteen-year-old. She was always different and knew it. But an almost normal was good enough for her. Even when her almost normal life meant that she was labeled at Pawtucket High for being weird because she doesn't dress like the other teenage girls at her school and is good at tinkering with cars. That she can tell anyone's future once she touches them with one hand. And her mother is near catatonic and doesn't even recognize her own daughter anymore. But her mother was normal once. Her mother know who she was. Spoke to her. Listened to her. But once Miranda retreated too far into her dreamworld and the young Willow could no longer hide what happened to her mother, they were forced to live with Willow's aunt, Joanna. Her packrat of an aunt who constantly complains about having to support two extra people on her salary.
But in an effort to keep the most popular girl, Beth Hartley, at school from danger, Willow's life turned upside-down beyond recognition. First, she learns that angels exists. Second, Church of Angels is on a quest to overrule the world and feed on humans as if they were cattle. Third, Willow falls in love with Alex Kylar, guy trained almost his entire life to try and exterminate her kind. The very guy sent to kill her.

So what happens when an impossibly conceived half-angel and an angel-assasain fall in love? How will Alex balance who he was trained to be, the loss he's suffered and the person he's becoming who loves an half-angel? How will Willow become the one to destroy the Church of Angels? The only being capable of saving the human race from being wiped out. See where Willow's and Alex's story leads them in Angel Burn.

Here are some of my favorite quotes from Angel Burn:

Willow: I didn't want to die. I wanted to live, to be with Alex, to experience so much more than I had so far. But just then, it was Alex I was crying for . . . And more than that, I guess I was crying for the both of us . . . that it hadn't turned out to be always, after all. - page 398
